COURSE STAGES:

Stage One: Participants receive introductory e-mail, course content, examples of session delivery and trainers’ expectations of the course and bespoke questionnaire.

(Participants are encouraged to share TV and creative ideas with the whole group for feedback and discussion – these will be treated with strict confidence)

Stage Two:  9.00am until 17.00pm  – Two Day Face to Face taught course

Stage Three: Social Storyteller Course E – Learning course

Bespoke three-module on-line course for participants specially written for this course that re-iterates the fundamentals of Digital Storytelling and Social TV, including Research Techniques, Information Gathering, Exercises and Quizzes.

Stage 4:  9.00am until 17.00pm – One day Workshop

Full day Workshop assisting participants with their own projects or working on a Case Study given by the trainers to gain practical development, planning and pitching experience.

Stage 5: Mentoring

Follow up e-mails to all course participants offering further bespoke mentoring.

What is Social TV?

Social TV is the place where Television and Social Media meet. There are Broadcaster Led Campaigns and Audience Led Campaigns. When it works best, Social TV produces a massive amount of social interactions within the audience, which results in increased viewing figures.

TRAINING COURSE PARTICIPANTS:

There are 12 spaces for full fee paying participants on a first come first served basis:

Fees:

  • Full Participant Fee £150. Full fee up front includes a copy of the influential Social TV Powertips v2 Report (worth £75) prior to course start.

OR Participants can pay a £50 deposit now and pay the balance in monthly instalments in January and February 2016.

  • BECTU Members 4 places available at £50 per participant. First come first served.

 

PAYMENT LINK CANCELLED

All payees will receive an application form, a pre-course questionnaire and a detailed course timetable prior to the start of the course. All participants who compete the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance and the option to sign up to further bespoke on-line modules and a monthly newsletter at a reduced fee.

 

BURSARIES:

Christine Pyke Media and Bellyfeel are committed to promoting diversity within their courses and have secured bursaries supported by Creative Skillset for 5 places for employees and freelancers residing in England who are under-represented in the workforce, and can show they have worked in a paid, professional capacity over at least one year in the Creative Industries.
