Social TV – an interesting insight

Here are a few standout extracts;

62% of consumers use social media while watching TV.  An increase of 18% since 2011.

Using social network sites and forums, 40% of these discuss what they are watching on social networks.

12% of new UK shows have Facebook pages, compared to 30% in the US.

Few UK broadcasters are creating valuable content that extends the story outside of the show.
