According to Richard Preedy, Research Director at GfK, change is coming; the way we watch programmes in the traditional TV markets – the US and Europe – will change forever within a decade. It would be sooner but for the fact that western consumers are stuck in an ‘analogue’ mindset.
China, Brazil and India are the early adapters of Smart TV and these audiences are more likely to interact with programmes.
